Rules for Correspondents
Dear all!
You can send to Urban habitats photo-monitoring your environmental/ecological pictures which show recent or historical conditions of urban habitats. We will use these pictures only for wildlife protection and restoration. They may be documentary or more artistic ecological pictures – all are welcome! You can send your articles that describe urban habitats’ problems as well.
1.Resolution/size of pictures (JPG/TIFF format): maximum 1024 pixels for long side of picture, not more then 1.5MB for main pictures and 300x200 pixels for any others (maps, schemes...)
2.Every graphic file must have its ID: IMG_1378 - number, _28.03.07 - date of shooting, for example:IMG_1378_28.03.07.JPG.
3.If you would like to send a map of the location of the place in the picture it must not be more then 300x200 pixels and the name of this map file should be like this: Map 1378.jpg.
4.You must send a very short description of the picture (time, location, comment, your name and contact details). The description file name must be like this: 1378_Harrow 28.03.07.txt
5.All files must be sent in one attachment. In the subject line print: “Pictures” and add the location e.g. "Picture, Westminster".
6.Articles must be in MS Word format and not be longer than 2-3 pages.

Attention
UHP project is not-for-profit and all income from any possible commercial usage of the pictures from our site will be used for developing photo-monitoring and further ecological not-for-profit projects.
By corresponding with us you agree to: 1) upload only material that you have created or for which you have permission from the copyright holder, and 2) donate to “Urban habitats photo-monitoring” all rights to use/change images and text (for example: to edit, modify, quote, or reformat uploaded images and text, including the right to include advertisements and hyperlinks. Consequently you will not retain copyright to images and text uploaded to “Urban habitats photo-monitoring”.
We guarantee that all possible income will be used for developing Urban habitats photo-monitoring project.
